The bride was lovely in a white crepe dress with long sleeves, a high neckline and a lace peplin. She wore a string of pearls and carried white orchids and red roses. Her veil was of white net trimmed with lace and was caught at the crown with seed pearls. Her maid of honor was Beth Thornton, sister of the groom. She chose Misses Lillian Strong, Laurel Willis and Ila Dunsdon as her bridesmaids. Each girl was dressed in white formals and carried a nosegay of white carnations and sweetpeas. Lester Thornton, brother of the groom acted as best man. The parents jjf the newlyweds stood in the bridal part'. Mrs. Larsen was dressed in black and Mrs. Thornton was in blue. The master of ceremonies was A. W. Barnes, with the following program being presented: Solo, Vervene Sorenson; solos, Robert Graham; piano solo, Felt, and a solo by Melvin Bushman. The accompanists for the evening were Phyllis Fox and Beth Bushman. The guests were received at the door by Mr. and Mrs. John South wick, Mrs. Don Dickerson, Misses Beth Bushman, and Ruby Bone took charge of the gift rooms. Refreshments were in charge of Mrs John Bushman, Mrs. Millen Kirk ham and Mrs. L. W. Lehmberg, with Misses Lorraine Carlson, Wanda Littleford, Arlene Carson and Marilyn Anderson serving. Mrs. Paul Mecham took charge of the guest book and Patsy Larsen and Cleo Thornton received the gifts at the door. After a short trip to Los Angeles the newlyweds will make their home in Lehi. A number of friends also called during the day to offer felicitations. ivijb. reamersione is back in Lehi, after spending three months in the American Fork and LDS hospitals, then three months at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Proctor, in American Fork, while convalescing from a fractured leg suffered six months ago. She has spent most of her .life in Lehi, i l udvuig Deen Dorn in the same room she now occupies during her convalescence. (Rusty) Rogers, which took place March 19 in Provo. Mr. Rogers is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred J. Rogers, Sr. of Pleasant Grove. The bride is a former student of the Lehi High school, and for the past two years has been employed at Ralph's Cafe. Mr Rogers is proprietor of the Lehi Auto Clinic in Lehi, and lias been ac tive in scouting in the Alpine stake. Following a honeymoon to the Southern Utah canyons and southern California, the new Mr. and Mrs. Rogers have returned to Lehi to make their home.
