Very deliciouo refreshments were served by the hoste. Mrs. Wally Swenson was hostess to members of her bridge club Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Verio Kendrick, first; Mrs. Dean Lipsey, second; Mrs. Phil Sanderson, consolation; and Mrs. Hosmer Peterson, honor prize. Dainty refreshment were served. Diederich of Copperton, B'ng-ham B'ng-ham Canyon. Wedding music was by Miss Ann Might, soloist accompanied by Mrs. W, A. Shearon. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a dress of taffeta and chant'lly lace. The Rown was fashioned with a scooped neckline trimmed in lace and seed pearls, and had a full skirt extending into a chapel train of chantilly lace. Her fingertip veil wa caught to a cap of lace and seed pearls. She earned a prayer book topped with a white orchid. Attending the bride ns matron of honor was Mrs. R. N. Fabian of llavelock, N. Car. She wore a blue velvet gown styled with puffed sleeve and panel back and wore a matchin gheadband with veil. Duties of best man were performed per-formed by Donald G. Baldwin, Cherry Cher-ry PoCnt, N. Car., close friend to the bridegroom. Wm. R. Woodlief and Wm. Sandlv, both of Franklin- ton, were ushers. The bride is a graduate of the East Carolina College, Greenville, N. Car., and at the time is a teacher in Winston Salem, City School, N. Car. The couple i honeymooning en-route en-route west. They will be honored at an open house at Copperton LDS W.rd on Wednesday, (October 26, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. heated by the bridegroom's parents. The bridegroom ia leaving oon for overseas duty. Former Copperficld Mi Is Mid-October Bride Miss Alice Jeanne Ivie and John B. Arnold, a former University of Utah student, were united in marriage mar-riage Friday, October 14, in Salt Lake Temple rites. That evening they were honored at a recept on at the North Jordan Stake House. Assisting with greeting guests were the couple's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert A. Ivie, of Granger, for- merly of Copperfield, and Mr. and Mrs. John S. Arnold, of Granger. For the event the bride wore a silk organza and lace gown. Her veil of illusion was caught to a small crown of pearls. Attending the bride were Mrs. Donald R. Chadw.ck, Mrs. MelRoy Bridges, Miss Judith Rae Ivie, Miss Leslie Ann Ivie and Miss Mary Arnold. Arn-old. Petite Penny Lee Ivie and All-ene All-ene ivie were flower girls. They were gowned 'in crystalette models in shades of beige and gold. Robert Arnold stood as best man and ushers were Paul Arnold, Jay Madsen, Keith Ivie and'LeRoy Ivie. The newlyweds will honeymoon to San Francisco, Calif., before making ma-king a home in Granger. Chrit!e and Patty King of River-ton River-ton spent from Friday to Tuesday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keysaw and family while their parents were away on a deer hunting trip. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Swenson of Eureka visited with relatives in Bingham Sunday. Pfc Jerry King recently spent a 30-day furlough here visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keysaw and family and other relatives rela-tives and friends. He returned to Otkland, Calif., at the end of his furlough and left from there last Wednesday for overseas duty. W.B.A. met at the home of Mrs. Heber Nichols of Copperton Monday Mon-day evening for their regular monthly mon-thly meeting. A business meeting was conducted after which cards were played. Prizes were won by Mrs. Helen Sullenger, Mrs. W.D.S. Brown and Mrs. Howard Harker. A very lovely luncheon was served bv the hostess. 1 Fire Auxiliary met Monday night ns guests of Mrs. Grant Milner. Bingham Ward Primary regular monthly preparation meeting was held at the church Tuesday night. The in-service trainer lesson was given by Mrs. Willadeen Householder. House-holder. Light refreshments were served at the close of the meeting by Mrs. Erma Dean Dimmick and Mrs. Mabel Brimhall hostesses for the evening. Last night (Thursday) Mrs. Sally Taylor, Mrs. Pearl Knudsen, Mrs. Lila Dahlstrom and Mrs. Pearl Cheever attended a dinner and meeting of the Salt Lake County Medical Assistants held at Oakridge Country Club at Farmington. Martha Circle met Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Hazel Ha-zel Robbe of Salt Lake City. A nicely appointed one o'clock luncheon lunch-eon was served alter which a business busi-ness meeting was held and bridge was played. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Helen Austin, Mrs. Irene Frazier, Mrs. Neva Jensen and Mrs. Mary Zaccaria.
