Gibbins and Glen Pulley, sua of Mr. and Mrs. Alma A. Pulley, of American Fork, were married Wednesday evening at the home of the bride' parents. Bishop Cecil L. Ash per formed the ceremony. The following program was presented: Solo, Wallace Gardner; guitar solo, Norma Pulley; reading, Jo Ann Gardner; piano solo, Joan Evans; solo, LaRae Kirkham; reading Laura Thompson, solo, Ann Bennett; toast to the bride, Ferrin Gurney; toast to the groom, Lott Robinson. Theora Pulley was in charge of gilts and those serving were Lois Peterson, Lola Udell, Mau rine Burreton, Fay Street, Max' ine Hunt, Eldona Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Pulley will make their home in Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. Holmstead were marjried Oct 20, 1867 in Lehi. Mr. Holmstead, when Utah lake was a great fishing spot, was one of the best fishermen on that body of water. In later years he was associated with the sheep sheering industry. He was born in Lehi Nov. 28, 1875, of pioneer parents Olaf and Mary Ekstrom Holmstead, immigrants from Sweden. Mrs. Holmstead also a native of Lehi, wa shorn Nov. 2, 1877. Her mother crossed the plains at the age of three years, after coming to the United States from Norway. Mr. and Mrs. Holmstead have five sons, Clarence, Boyd, Mack and Rex of Lehi and Ira of Elpaso Texas. They have 13 grandchildren and one Am- erican Fork, and Reed Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford of Lehi, were honored at The family of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ilulmvtead entertained at a iamily dinner and social, Monday evening in honor of Mr. and Mis. fiolmstead's Golden Wedding an niversary. A buffet luncheon was served by the daughters-in-la- w Mrs. Jean Holmstead, Mrs. Mor- val Holmstead and Mrs. Donnette Holmstead. The table was set with a beautiful lace cloth ,with a cen. ter piece of roses and snapdrag ons, with love birds on each side. The gold color scheme was carried out with a beautiful wedding cake of white and gold. A corsage was presented Mrs. Holm-stea- d by her grandchilden, and white carnation was given Mr. a Holmstead Forty-fiv- e guests called to of fer their congratulations. To make their day complete, their son, Ira, who was unable to be here called by phone from New Mexico. Mrs. Ir.a Holms'tead called from Elpaso, Texas and Mrs. Susie Peterson, a sister of Mrs. Holmstead's called from Albuquerque, New Mexi- or- chids encircled with roses. Mrs. Berl Duffin was the maid of honor, with the bride's three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Moody, Mrs. Alta Furhman, and Mrs. Lela Hansen, acting as bridesmaids. Little Miss Elese Jackson was very charming, as she acted as flower girl. Jay Lambert acted as best man fur Mr. Miller. A program and dance were enjoyed, with Clell Jackson acting as master of ceremonies. In charge of the gift room were Mrs. Dorothy Ivers and Mrs. Mary Kirkham of Salt Lake.. In charge of serving were, Mrs. Clell Jackson and Mrs. Marie Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Miller are honeymooning in Los Angeles.
