Marshal Gardner has etnered private employment and as yet no successor has been appointed. Police officer Clemn Turner has taken over duties of the Marshal temporarily and Roger Price and Victor Smith are rotating the night shift temporarily. Mr. Gardner has served as police officer for two and half years and has made a very fine record. He has been a respected and honored offcer, not only in our local community but among his fellow offcers of county and state as well. It is with regret the city officials lose Mr. Gardner.
