The program committee in charge of the special events for the veterans and their relatives promises definitely that one delightful event after another will follow throughout the entire encampment. Lehi established rather an enviable reputation for presenting an outstanding parade during those years in wheh it featured the Sugar Beet Day celebration. 1 he parade for the Homecoming and Elack Hawk fiesta will be equally as good as those presented in former years. Lehi won the privilege of serving as hosts to the veterans at the annual meeting of the Association held at Spanish Fork in February. The last time the veterans were guests of Lehi City was in 1930, and those who attended will remember very vividly the numerous attractions put on for their special benefit, not excepting the cloudburst which tried the patience and fortitude of the campers However, throughout one entire night. there were no causalties wth the exception of a lent or two which were somewhat worse for wear and tear, and the populace of Lehi has guaranteed, with the aid of the weather man, that no such reptition of this condition will occur. The celebration is in reality a combi- naton of a Homecoming event for all former residents of Lehi and the Annual Encampment of the Black Hawk Veterans. The Lehi Stake Presidency will have charge of the organization which has to do with the Homecoming proper, and the following officers will have charge of the festivities: Black Hawk Encampment State ComAlma Fuller, Springville, mander: A.
