Smith, Mr. Taylor was born in England, October 21, 1858, a son of James and Mary Eaton Taylor. Becoming converted to the L. D. S. Church, he emigrated to Utah in 1881, settling at Springville- He has been a resident of Lehi for many years and has taken an active part in church activities, being a High Priest at the time of his death. He married Eliza Russon, December 16. 1885, in the Logan temple, He suffered a paralytic stroke several months ago and has been bed fast since that time.
