She was baptized a member of the church July 1. 1877, at the age of eight years. Her school days were spent at the old Thurman school house. At the age of 22, on the 12th of June, 1891, she was married to Ebenezer William Taylor, by the late Bishop T. R. Culter. To them were born eight children. On August 23, lf05. they went t c the Salt Lake Temple to receive their endowments. At this time six of the children were sealed to them. Never a public woman, most of her life was spent in the home taking care of her family. Hers was a life of sacrifice, she staying at home so that they might attend their church duties. A number of years, she acted as a Relief Soc'ety visiting teacher. The later years of her life she acted on quilting committee of th9 Ward Theatre.
