Taylor and James Harwood was born in Lehi, Utah, January 2,"), 1862. She married George Henry Smith, December 24, 1881, at Ix'hi, where they lived until December, 1903, when they moved to Blackfoot, Idaho. They made their home there for thirty years. Four years ago she and her husbajid returned to Lehi where they have lived until the present time. She became a member of the L. D. S. Church in 1886 and she and her husband had the cealing ordinance preformed in the Logan Temple. She was an active worker in the organizations most of her life. She served as president of the Riverside Relief Society for seven years, her kind, charitable disposition made a lasting impression on those with whom she labored. She served as Relief Society visiting teacher in Blackfoot Second Ward, also in the Lehi First Ward before moving to Idaho. She held the same position after her return to Lehi First Ward until her departure of this life. She was the mother of eleven children four of whom preceeded her in death.
