CHRISTMAS THE LEHI STAKE RELIEF SOCIETY TREE THURSDAY Lehi wiJl hold her annual Community Christmas celebration at the IaIu High School, Thursday, Dec. 22, at 3 p. m. when the children of Lehi will be guests of the Lehi Lions Club at r Christmas program and community tree. One of the high lights f the Christmas season, each year, the program this year has been arranged to please children of all ages. Santa will make his appearance during the afternoon with bags of sweets f r the children. Committees of the Lions Club have been working foi several weeks to raise funds for the occasion and promise a real treat for the kiddes, Thursday. The program: Community singing of Christmas carols by the children, lead by Miss Jackson. and good will to the officers and members of our Relief Societies throughout our stake, and all who have so kindly assisted us in making our success attainable. We feel as a board that the officers and members of the seven wards have put forth every effort willingly to do in the best manner the tilings asked of them. All the disappointments and cares of the year are forgotten in the truth of the message Christmas brings, for we feel and know the Star is still shining. Let us be glad and do good to those who are less fortunate, that they too may partake of the happiness that Christmas brings and give us all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. SANTA TO VISIT LEHI SATURDAY NIGHT Old Santa Claus will make his "ff cial visit to Lehi Saturday night, is the announcement received bv the Lehi City officials, from Santa's headquarters at the North Pole, Wednesday. Many inquiries have been made regarding the proper time for the visit of Santa, as Christmas comes on Sunday. City officials and the Community Christmas Committee announced that Lehi would have Santa's visit on Saturday night, the date of Christmas eve, a custom too old to change. So Lehi children will be visited Saturday by Santa, with the children of Christian nat:ons the world over, on Christmas eve. STAKE PRIMARY GREETINGS Xylophone solo Delbert Fugal.
