Springvillr--Enevol- d Andersen, Springville farmer, died Wednesday evening, December 22 of a heart attack at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Averette. He had been ill only 12 hours- Born in Denmark, June 2(i, 18"S, Mr. Anderson came to Utah with his parents in 1870, as a convert to the L. D. S. church. He spent his boyhood in Lehi, then moved to West Jordan, and later to Springville. ATTENTION ADULT CLASS He married Violet E. A group of stalwart citizens, the new officers with John N. Wihmpey, mayor; Sylvester Evan, four year councilman; Isaac Bone, J. C. Waidass and B. J. Lott as two year councilman; Iyeland Powell, recoder and Mrs. Inez Peterson, treasurer, and Edward Johnson as holdover councilman, will give I.ehi a spendid lineup for the coming year. The retiring officers with I. W. Fox, as mayor, Edward Johnson, Virgil Peterson, Fred Peterson and James Holden as councilman, J. I. Eddie Jones, a veteran of the World War received word Tuesday from the War Department that he had been awarded the "Order of the Purr Uft ple Heart." Mr. Jones was wounded in action during the World War on wcauici October 24, 1918, in the Argonna oi spamsn Forest in Prance. He was Lehi's William J. Iitt received a pleasant surprise at 4:30 Christmas morning when they received a long dis tance telephone call from their children in Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Lott talked to their daughter, Mrs. Juliette Black and her husband, Miss Marie Lott and to Mr. and Mrs. Wreal Lott of New York City who were visiting at Washington D. C. with Mr. and Mrs. Black. SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION MEETING The regular monthly Sunday School Union meeting will be held in the Lehi Second Ward Chapel Sunday, January 2 at 8 a. m. All Sunday School workers are requested to be present. BICYCLE STOLEN A bicycle belonging to "Bud" Hitchcock was stolen from in front of the National Guard Amory, Monday evening.
