Ward and all Leaders of Bishoprics, Ecclesiastical Organizations in the Lehi Stake. Dear Brethren and Sisters: It will soon be a year since the movement of compiling the Ecclesias-- 1 tical History of the stake was launched. During this time quite a number of biographical sketches have been handed to the committee, but there are many offiiers who have not yet complied with this request. Up to date we have received but one history of an organization the Seminary. Some of the organizations have done considerable research work and ars making some progress, but the majority have done very little. To properly write the history of any of the organizations, requires that extensive research work should be done. After them aterial has been assembled then the best talents available should be employed to work it into shape and make of it a clear, If practicconcise, readable story. able, give the story by years. Show the changes which have occurred in the personel of officers and mention some of the outstanding accomplishments of each year. In most cases the secretaries of the various organizations l ave been appointel to write these histories which is right and proper but it would be a good plan to give them some help. We would like to have all of the biographical sketches in at once and the histories of the organizations completed by the first of October. By the end f the year we hop to be abb to present to the Stake Authorities a book containing an account of the church activities of the Stake to Dec. 31, 1935. Now, you leading brethren and sisters, will you kindly support this move to the end that we might finish t expeditionary and with dispatch.
