C. Schow and George S. Peterson dedicated the grave. Biographical Sketch of Arthur countless friends and acquaintances through his congenial disposition. He possessed sterling qualities and characteristics that will live long in the memory of his many friends- Mr. Gaisford as a member of the local Lions Club and was active IB numerous civic enterprises. He was a devoted husband and father, always having the interests of his family at heart He married Elizabeth Beverly in Salt Lake City ia 1893 and to this union ten sons and daughters were born. His widow and all of them sur vive as follows: Arthur Frank Gaisford. Jr., Ameri can Fork; George A. Gaisord, San California: Mrs. Maud Francisco, Singleton of Los Angeles, California; Victor W. and Edward R. Gaisford. American Fork; Mrs. Garnet Thome Salt Lake City; Mrs. Nora Mousely of Garfield. Mrs. Arlene Bills. Riverton; Earl and Beth Gaisford. Lehi; also seventeen grandchildren, one great grandchild and one brother, David Gaisford. of Salt Lake City. Mr. Gaisford passed away quietly at his home here Wednesday. January 22, about noon, following a few days illness. In his passing the community mourns one of her most beloved and highly respected citizens. He moved his family to Lehi and since that time he had made his home here. Step by itep he acquired the ownership of the local printing plant and newspaper along with the American Fork paper and plant- - He established the Lehi Sun in 1914 and for twenty- one long years, under his management, this paper has gone into the homes of Lehi citizens. He has aland uphad advancement the ways the at heart. of community building Mr. Gaisford had a jovial nature and in the print shop or in public his friends were greeted with a pleasant smile. He was industrious, always honest and upright in all his dealings. During his newspaper and printing career in Lehi he has met up with numerous people and it has been said by many "that a fairer or squarer man never lived." ENDOWMENT EXCURSION ANNOUNCED The next endowment excursion from the Lehi, Alpine and Timpanogos Stakes will be on February 4th. The Orem line will run a special train leaving Lehi at 7:42 a. m. and arriving at Salt Lake City at 8:35 a. m. in time for the first session. The price of the tickets will be 51c round trip, which will be good for return on any train that day. The same rate will also be allowed on the 4:17 p. m. train for those who are unable to go on the special morning train. Those who go on the 4:17 p. m. car will be able to go to the 5 p. m. session and get out in time to return home on the 10 p. m. car. The 6 p. m. session is too late to catch this car. If this arrangement is successful the railroad company will continue run this special tra.n. The Salt Lake Temple is open for endowments six sessions each day.
