CASTLE DALE Al though hampered by students having to enter school and the harvest season requiring the time of many of the men, only 40.000 bricks remain to be made for use in the new Castle Dale ward chapel. A skeleton crew has faithfully carried on the woik the past couple weeks and expect to have all the bricks completed within ten days. Approximately 250,000 bricks have been made to date. As soon as the bricks are completed the huge kiln will be plastered with mud and the burning vill commence. This Is reportedly the largest kiln of bricks ever burned in Emery county, and will require about 80 ton of coal. Low fires will be built at first to dry the brick for three or four days, with the fires inthen increased to white-hetensity for about five days. Because of the shortage of volunteers iand the persistency of some children In ruining a considerable number of bricks, the work has slowed a little and it is doubtful if the present meeting house will be torn down before next spring, according to officials in charge of the work.
