Nolan Stokes came home last Thursday from the Duck Creek camp and returned Friday. Ileen Cnxistiansen from CCC Mon-ticel- lo is visiting local relatives. A ballgame between Cleveland and Wattis last Sunday at the latter place resulted in a score of 26 to 12 in favor of Cleveland. Hal Winkler, Kenneth Carlson, Lorraine Davis, Jack White and John Locke left last Saturday for Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Lamph entertained last week their daugh- ter and family from. California, and their daughter and family from Colorado for a few days. Mrs. Lamph returned with the latter to Colorado for a few weeks' visit. iLewls Whimpey and daughter, Mrs. Carrie Cowley, are visiting their daughters and sisters in California. J. J. Larson returned Monday from an extended visit with relatives in California. Arlene Lamph, who is employed in Salt Lake City, is visiting home folks. A delicious cold luncheon was served to twelve couples. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Peacock entertained the members of the Aloa club at their home In Friday evening. Lunch was served to eleven members following an evening of Five Hundred. Miss Wanda Weidmann enter- tained with a canyon party Sat- urday evening In honor of her father and mother, who were visiting here from Tremonton. Quests enjoying the outing were Mr. and Mrs. Weidmann, Mr. and Mrs. Hector Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Snow, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Witbeck, and Miss Lorraine Holmgren. Members of the Entre Nous club were entertained at the home of Mrs. C. L. Witbeck on Friday evening. Needlework furnished the pastime,, and the (hostess served a tempting cold luncheon. Members present were Mesdames George Magnussen, Milton Greaves, Nellie Young, Jesse Tuttle and R. A. boys in Utah. Dale has been an outstanding student at North Emery high school in F. F. A. work, athletics, and has attained a high scholastic rating. After an enjoyable evening of needle work an appetizing luncheon was served. Marilyn Anderson, nine-yeold daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Anderson, was operated on for appendicitis at the Price hospital Tuesday evening. However, while painful for a few days, the injury is improving nicely. Loren Fowler, son of Mrs. Vana Oman Fowler of Price, has been home on a furlough and visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Oman in thiS city, for a few days. He has spent three years at March Field, California, but has been transferred to the air corps field at Vancouver, Washington.
