KiUpack died at his home in Huntington on Dec. 26, 1918. The seventh death from the flu In Emery occurred December 31, 1918, the victim being Rasmus R. Johnson, better known as "Dalph." He was 36 years of age. Sixty or seventy cases of the flu were reported in Emery at the time of Mr. Johnson's death. Mrs. Ida V. By comparison the reports of 1932 were piled alongside and measured exactly six inches. "Quite a difference," exclaimed Miss Harriet Cannon, stenographer. "The volume of reports required by governmental agencies is constantly increasing," R. H. Jones, assistant secretary and treasurer of the company, said. "In 1938 it reached a total of 8610 separate reports varying from simple one page statements to veritable book length compilations of accounts and statistics." The home of Jens Nielson, in Huntington, was destroyed by flames on February 1. 1919.
