Bickmore as chairman, at which time a contract, previously drawn up by members of the committee and County Attorney W. O. Peacock, was thoroughly discussed and a few minor changes made, after which this contract was adopted and plans made for its presentation in each community. The contract between the patient and the doctor becomes effective upon the payment of the stipulated sum, after which time the patient receives, with a few exceptions, complete medical care at no extra cost. The doctor would maintain office hours in var ious localities for the conven ience of his patients, and any trips necessitating the doctors' visit at any other time would be taken care of by a mileage fee, with no charge for the medical service if it came under the contract. Limited space prevents detailed mention of the contract, but people are urged to contact their local committeemen and determine when the meeting fcr the public will be held in their locality. At this meeting the contract will be fully explained and discussed. It has been mentioned by some prominent businessmen, and proved in other areas, that should this program be put over, it would probably be the biggest and most progressive movement ever founded in Emery county. Stanley Snow, son of Glenn Snow, received a fractured elbow Sunday evening when he fell from a fence which he climbing over to retrieve a ball. Anna ILou Anderson, daghter of Clarence Anderson, fell from a tree in this city and received a severe gash In her leg from a spike driven into the tree to aid in climbing it. The ankle of her other leg was fractured when she hit the ground. Both children were treated by Dr Sorensen and taken into Price Tuesay morning for pictures. The deer checkers re cord the weight, horn spread, and horn diameter of all deer taken from the Manti National Forest. This being deer season, some peculiar boasting was done by some members of Che camp returning from the deer .hunt without a buck. For Instance, Ray Whitehead proudly stated that he had been hunt ing for migh onto seven years and hadn't killed a deer yet, and tl.:at his father had hunted fifteen years without getting one. Others, however, came back boasting in a slightly different manner. Sergeant Blain claimed to have shot three huge bucks, one for every member of his party. While exact figures from the checking stations at the three points In Emery county are unavailable at this time, it is estimated that at least 150 bucks will be brought out of Straight canyon with, slightly lesser numbers from each of the other checking stations. While a majority of the local sportsmen and many from out side points, were In the field, a incident was the fact that two Emery county women displayed their prowess and skill by each bringing down a fine buck. Emery Larsen, Wallace Ryan, Joe Chrstensen and father, and a hunter from Salt Lake, claim the honor of (having killed their five bucks up Ferron canyon, and had them all hanging up in camp by 8:30 o'clock on the opening morning. He had scarcely gotten out of town when a buck walked out into the road. He stopped his car, shot the buck, and returned home. Twenty minutes, including traveling time, is fast enough. We kind of feel sorry however, for any man who pays his $3.00 for a license and then only gets to hunt twenty minutes. If President Nuttal is satisfied with that kind of a hunt no one else need complain.
