Manti Forest Notes Cleveland Ajfain our community is called on to mourn over the loss of on of our valiant young men, Earl Staker, who died at the Pike hospital last Friday from blood poison, caused from an injury received in the mines at Kenil-vvortwhere he had been employed for sonre timt. Earl was born at Lawrence about 26 years ago and grew to manhood there. About 4 years ago he married one of our prominent young ladies, Miss Leona Stokes, whom lie leaved behind together with one little daught er, parents, brothers and sisters and a host of frivnds. as Earl was loved where ever he was known, for hla clean, moral habits and congenial nature. He was also very industrious:. Funeral services were held Sunday in the ward meeting house. A large attendance and many beautiful florai offerings spoke of the' high esteen In which he was held. The speakers were Elders Brinkerhoff, and Ruel Jensen of Lawrent, R. Brasher of Huntington and Bishop J. J. Larson of Cleveland.
