Emil Lembke, who was killed in an auto accident on the Salt City road the other day, is the man in whose name was registered the license plate on one of the two big Cadillac roadsters which were emptied of some 1200 pints of whiskey last February after capture by Emery county officers. Two young fellows who gave their names as Reynolds and Elkins, were the drivers at the time and were given fines of f225 each and let go. The license plates borne by the cars did not cover the cars carrying them but were Issued for other makes of cars and were taken out In the names of Lembke and his wife. Incidentally, a young fellow who gave his name as Klklna was later hailed before a Reservation Justice on a bootlegging charge and was again fined and there was some talk of confiscating his car. Castle Dale's Fourth of July was a very enjoyable one from beginning to end. The parade waa a good one and was on time as was the program, both of which features were such as not soon to be forgotten. The league base ball game started things In the after noon and was followed by children's sports after which Abe Burton and Dave Nordell each rode a broncho. Neither of the animals did much however. A couple of horse races, the first of which was won by the Seely sorrel against the Brandon animal and the other by the Hambrick against the Jorgensen horse, closed the A big ifternoon's sports program. dance was the feature of the evening. The children's dance given in the afternoon was not a very satisfactory affair for various reasons and another Is to be given this afternoon for the little folks.
