Show Tuesday, January 21. 1992 The Daily Utah Chronicle - Page Ten Musical petting zoo, nature experienced at Symphony The third in the Utah Symphony Mervyn's Youth Concert Series will music that conjures up the wonders of nature. Utah Symphony assistant conductor Kory Katseanes will lead the orchestra in Johann Strauss, Jr.'s Thunder and Lightning Polka, the "Sunrise'' from Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite and the "Cloudburst" from Frede Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite, to name a few works. Before each concert, Riverton Music will provide instruments for a Petting Zoo. All those who come will have the opportunity to handle and play the instruments in the orchestra. "Zookeepers" will show everyone hands-o- 521-604- open before each concert from 10 to 11:15 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tickets are $3 for children and $6 for adults, available on a stand-b- y basis only.
