Legally the father does not have to donate one drop of blood for the sake of mother or infant . The woman puts her body and her life on the line when she brings another life into the world. It is a sacrifice, special mostly in that it is given willingly. ' Frvrrino that carrifiro nporaHoc it arH ic akin to slavery. Still, what about the right to life all of ; FA FA N So, if you said no, is that murder? Even if you were dead, I would still need your permission via a will, an organ donor card, or through your survivors. Why should it be any different if instead I am an embryo or fetus in need of a womb? Why should a pregnant woman forfeit the same right to control her own body? If she must, then she can't really be equal under the Constitution that shaped our belief in the sole ownership of physical self that even a corpse retains. If you put pregnancy in a special category then you would give the fetus a privilege no other American has-t- he power to use another's body to survive. Each woman would have to five with the shadowy prospect of someday having to relinquish her body to the state in the name of another person, and we would lose the sacrifice. sacredness of R L CLUB Celebration!
