The committee is requesting enough money to cover the costs of publishing one issue of Quartely West in the fall. The fall issue is 75 percent completed, Quarterly West editor Terry Hummer told the council Monday. Butcher said it is necessary to publish the fall issue to receive independent funding from federal grants.
