Students, patients and staff seeking parking at the University Medical Center will now use a new loop road west of the Utah Department of Health due to the permanent closure of Medical Drive Monday. Emergency vehicles, handicapped people and patients being dropped off at the hospital will continue touse Medical Drive, now a dead end with a turn around area near the new temporary front entrance. Elevators are directly inside. Campus police, signs and markers are stationed at areas of confusion to guide motorists.
