The hunters are home from the hills - driven out by the unreasonable weather. Though several elk permits were issued to Bear Riverites we haven't seen an elk come to town yet. Sister Improving Word has been received by Mrs. Leo Hansen that her sister, Olga Nelson, who is ill in California is some better. Olga was with her daughter, Gaye, over the weekend but had to reenter the hospital Monday morning. Leo Nelson was home for the weekend. Leo is receiving medical treatment at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City.. Sheryl Gardner is home after having open heart surgery at the L.D.S Hospital. His and past surgery care was at the Veterans Hospital. Sheryl says he feels much better. Family Returns From Thialand Major and Mrs. Monte Anderson and daughter, Jo Ellen, are here visiting Monte's mother. Martha J. Anderson and other relatives in the valley. The Andersons are now stationed at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. They recently returned from Thialand where e they had spent two years. home they toured India, Saudi Arabia, Europe and the Scandianavian countries. Jo Ellen will remain in Utah to attend the U.S.U. at Logan this winter. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Matesen arrived home Monday evening after visiting in Las Vegas with their son, Jack and family. Fred Thompson of Yost visited with Ernest and Andrea Huggins one day last week.
