Wyo., Monday, where they spent the Russell Capener anl Hal Mason went to relieve the leaders Doug Roche and Arnold Lamb and returned with the boys Saturday night Belmont Scouts Spend Week were guests at the first party and last'Friday the Bishoprics and their partners of the various wards were entertained. The two groups both enjoyed boating,, swimming and skiing, and were served delicious chicken dinners. Assisting the Presidency with the Bishoprics party with his boat for the day was Jay Dee Harris of Tre- week-Thursd- Club Honors Mambara The. ladies of the Jr. Birthday Club honored Alice Ward INJURED BY HORSE Injured last Wednesday evening when his horse kicked him in the face was Farrell Wood of Garland. It was reported that Mr. Wood had returned from riding and was puttings he saddle in his shed when his horse started to wander way. Mr. Wood walked up beside the horse to pick up the for her birthday Friday night. Most of the club members were present and enjoyed thq evening very much. She married Oct. 8. 1914 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. McGUIRE nine great grandchildren, 1895 in Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Norris McGuire, 88, mother of Mrs. Conrad Steffen, died July 17 at the local hospital after an extended illness. Her body was taken to Riverside, California, where funeral services and burial took place Wednesday. Mrs. McGuire was born Sept. 13, 1876 in Weaublau, Mo., a daughter of James Andrew and Eliza Jane Terry Norris. She was married to Alva D. McGuire Mar. 24, 1896 in Osceola. Mo. He died Jan. 30, 1962, in Riverside, Calif. The couple lived in Tremonton earlier in their married life and Mr. McGuire was a former editor of the Bear River Valley Leader. He was a practicing attorney in Riverside for many years. Mrs. McGuire was a member of the Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and Rebecca Lodge. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Conrad (Jewel) Steffen. Tremonton, with whom Mrs. McGuire had lived since the FREDERICK J. LIMB Funeral services for Frederick Joseph Limb, were 86, conducted Monday afternoon in Garland Second Ward. Bishop illi;im O. Merrell conducted the service. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery by Rogers Mortuary. Mr. Limb died July 15 in Brigham City after a, long illness. He was born July 28, 1878 in Beaver City. Utah, a son of Frederick and Mary Ann Harris Limb. He was reared and educated at Beaver City, and married Rosabella Tubbs Oct. 2. 1901 in the Logan LDS Temple. They moved to Bear River Valley and settled in Riverside, then moved to Garland where they have lived since. Mr. Limb was a farmer and an employe of the Utah-Idaho Sugar Co. While in Riverside he was secretary of the 4th Quorum of Elders and at the time of his death was a High Priest in Bear River Stake. Surviving are his widow, two sons and one daughter. Don E. Limb, Garland; Mrs. Lorin M. Myrle Peterson, Ogden; and Edward Theodore (Theot Limb, Layton; also 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one sister, Mary Young, Chester. Mike Ward accompanied Ken Ward on a three day vacation trip to Flaming Gorge Dam during the week. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Ira Ward went to tha Ken Ward home in Pleasant View to get Mike and enjoyed a cook-ou- t supper. The meet last week was a postponement from the scheduled event in June, which was cancelled on account of rain. The outing will also coincide with the closing of the Mutual Improvement Association for a month. UTAH FARM BUREAU and Boyd Hunsaker winner in the boys division. The two will enter the national finals soon in Nebraska.
