Show Deweyville Club Entertained by Alene Fryer Friendly Circle Club members met at the home Mrs. d Barrus in Trenionton, Wednesday evening. Elections were held for the coming year with Mrs. Omar Anderson as the new president. Mrs. Jess Earl will serve as secretary of the Mrs. Thales Canorganization. non was a guest of the Club. Mrs. Charles Norr, Mrs. Warren Haycock and Mrs. Wayne Fryer assisted with the serving of supper to the group. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Blackham over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Asa Eggleston. Mariposa. Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Al Green, of Sandy, Dale Blackham and Sheron Dall of Salt Lake City. Mr. Eggleston and Mrs. Green are brother and sister to Mrs. Connie Dewey. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Earl. Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Dansie and family from Riverton, Mr. and Mrs. Don Simmons and family, and Mrs. Carl Layton. Mr. Kamareth and Lowell. Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. David Kamareth of Bountiful. Later in the evening, the group attended the farewell testimonial for Mr. and Mrs. Albert Earl in Win-for- Grandchildren Visit Christine, Jackie and Joyce Waters of Ogden have been visiting at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arlin Madsen, this week. Little Steven Greg Madsen, also of Ogden, is with them, while his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Madsen, are vacationing. Inez Barnard came from Portland, Ore., last week to attend the graduation of her son, Nolan, from Utah State University. She spent several days visiting with friends and family in the area. Monday night, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Barnard hosted a supper for members of the Barnard family at their home. Miss Kathryn Marble showed slides of her recent trip to Hawaii. Michael Litchford left Sunday for the Great Lakes Naval Station in Chicago, 111. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Litchford. The Litchford family is happy their son, David, is continuing to make progress. He is still in the Dee hospital in Ogden. United In Marriage Carol Madsen Waters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arlin Madsen, and Larin Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Peterson of Perry, were united wore a pink sheath dress for her wedding and was attended by her sister, Myrna Black. Ron Peterson, brother of the groom, acted as best man. Mrs. Thales Cannon and Mrs. Vern Brough assisted with the serving to the 25 guests in attendance. After a short trip, the newlyweds will make their home in Ogden where Mr. Peterson is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Schoen-feland son came from Lovelock, Nev.. and visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Gardner last weekend. Sixteen senior citizens of the Deweyville ward attended the annual reunion at the South Bear River Stake house, Saturday. A delicious dinner was served by Mrs. Horace Gardner, Mrs. Horace Lish, Mrs. Clarence Fryer and Mrs. Floyd Gardner with the assistance of the Relief Society and wives of the Bishopric. d East Garland Students Attend Music Clinic by Mrs. Blaine Rhodes-JoLaws III, Gary Harper, Mike Rhodes, James Laws, Cynthia Meyers and Lynn Meye in mar- riage at a lovely ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, Thursday evening. Entertains For Birthday Norma Thomas entertained at a party at her home Thursday in compliment to her little daughter, Shellee, who was celebrating her seventh birthday anniversary. A group of little friends enjoyed an afternoon of games followed by tasty refreshments. Family Returns Home Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Shaffer and daughter of Seattle came to the Dora Shaffer home Saturday. Mr. Shaffer just completed a ward chapel in Seattle where he was church building supervisor. He is now awaiting a new assignment. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Oyler and family returned the same a like day after completing assignment, a ward chapel in Lawton, Okla.
