Gibbs has been treated at the Veterans hospital in Salt Lake City for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Potter with their children enjoyed an Easter cookout at the Neil Rhodes home. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bing- served. Mrs. Cornelia Benton of Salt Lake City visited Mrs. Dora Shaffer Saturday. Other luncheon guests were Vera Wester-gar- d and Iva Godfrey. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Shaffer entertained at dinner. Guests were Dora Shaffer, Mr. and Mrs. Mack and Suzanne Atkinson of Logan. Thursday evening Mrs. Shaffer was guest of honor at a surprise birthday party from her family. Mrs. Mabel Oyler, Mrs. Dora Shaffer, Mrs. Ruth Holman and Suzanne were also present. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hansen brought Mrs. Birdie Hansen up from Brigham City for Easter dinner. Walter was also home from school. W. A. Adams and Mrs. Henrietta Theissens, Tremonton, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Golden Adams. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Harper and family enjoyed a picnic lunch in Logan canyon. J. V. Reed Pierson took a group of Explorers on a fishing trip to Locomotive Springs, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Thompson of Elwood were at the Howard Oyler home Sunday. The Roy Oylers had their family home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Oyler and Mrs. Hazel Rogers accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Gus Forsberg to Salt Lake City to vjsit their brother, W. H. Home On Furlough Paul Stone, who is stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas, arrived Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. William Stone to spend a two week furlough.
