Leland Stokes and Mrs. E.M. Stark were at the Salt Lake airport Thursday to meet Mrs. Starks' daughter, Mrs. Mara Lynn Hall who arrived by plane from Portland to spend the weekend at the Stark home and also visit her sister, Mrs. Lila Lee Baugh who is a houseguest at the Stark home. Enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Smith u ill be Mrs. Gary Craner and daughters, Angie and Erin of Boise, Mr. and Mrs. Marcellis Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hardy and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Palmer of Salt Lake City, Cherie and Jill Smith of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Smith of Bear River City, Mr. and Mrs. Max Smith and children, Katie and Brett of Garland, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hine of Penrose. Spending Thanksgiving and enjoying dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Lott and family will be Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bowcutt of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Cutler and family of Garland, Mr. and Mrs. Claire Bowcutt and family of and Mrs. Nancy Burnett and family of Riverside. Mr. and Mrs. Odell Brad-shaof Toledo, Ohio, former Tremonton residents visited old friends in Tremonton, Bothwell and Thatcher areas during the week. They enjoyed visiting the old homestead where Mr. and Mrs. Axel Borgstrom had lived many years ago. Enjoying dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Anderson Wednesday were Mrs. Reed Wight and Mrs. Iona Olsen of Ogden and Mrs. Bernice Anderson of Tremonton. They spent time exchanging geneology. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rosco Anderson on Thanksgiving will be Donald Anderson and four children of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Nielsen and children, Mike, Bobbie and Linda of Clinton, Carla and Jackie Anderson, students at BYU in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Lefevre spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lefevre Tre-mont- w and family in Mountain Home, Idaho. Sunday they enjoyed a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Marks along with the Jerry Lefevre family. Enroute home they were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Petersen and family in Snowville. Mrs. Donnell K. Bown and Mrs.' Jane Marble attended funeral services for Mrs. Cynthia Earl held in the Hall Mortuary in Logan Friday. Mrs. LaDell Harris and daughters, Laurie and and Mrs. Reed Harris attended the performance of 'My Turn On Earth' at the Fine Arts Center on the USU campus in Logan Saturday. Mrs. Carol Anderson and son, Aaron attended an open house for relatives and close Da-lai- friends honoring her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Nicholas of Ogden, Saturday, who were observing their 60th wedding anniversary. It was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Rounds. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Max Anderson during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Dayton of Cokeville, Wyo. and Mrs. Eliza Holland of Tremonton. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Keith Anderson and family Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Hal Anderson of Malta. Monday Connie Rae Sessions, Mrs. Connie Rasmus-se- n and Mrs. LaDell Harris spent the day in Salt Lake City. Thursday evening the Birthday Club of Riverside met at the home of Mrs. Shirlene Lott with Mrs. Grace Allen as Sixteen members attended and enjoyed a delicious turkey supper. Gifts were presented to Mrs. Lott and Mrs. Allen who had recently observed birthday anniversaries. The remainder of the evening was spent doing handiwork. Mrs. LeAnn Walton, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Baugh, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Baugh of Logan visited at the E.M. Stark home during the week. Judy Smith of Fielding, Ethel Firth, Shirley Watson, Blanche Thompson, Connie Moss of Tremonton, Delia Stark and Leila Nichols of Ogden visited Lila Lee Baugh at the E.M. Stark home during the past week. Enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lasley will be Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Lasley, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Lasley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Coburn Lasley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hartley and family of Rockland, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Lasley and family of Pocatello, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bambert and family of American Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lasley Jr. of Preston, Oren Spillet of Rockland. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Anderson along with Harry Drew, Grace Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Anderson of Tremonton attended a dinner party at the Hilton Hotel in Salt Lake ' City Friday honoring Rodney Nyman of the Logan Federal Land Bank office. A social followed. Mrs. Floyd Eggli returned home Saturday after undergoing major surgery at the Logan hospital. She is reported to be getting along satisfactorily. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Holda-wa- y have returned after an enjoyable week vacation visand iting their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don Anderson and family in Phoenix. They also visited in son-in-la- Mexico. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Young of Willard entertained at a family dinner party honoring Mrs. Rosella Anderson who was observing her 82nd birthday anniversary. Other guests included Roy Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Anderson of Thatcher, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Anderson of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Anderson of Ogden, Dr. and Mrs. Alma Anderson of Salt Lake City. Monday Mrs. Vickie May and children of Brigham City enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Anderson. Ardes Adams of Tremonton visited Mrs. Letitia Sor-ense- Friday. n Mrs. Ruth Ramp ton was in Davis County on business Wednesday and Thursday with the Jay Cullimores. She saw her first great grandchild, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Cullimore which was born Monday the 18. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Nelson of Corinne were with Mrs. Rampton Saturday night. Mrs. Ruth Grover of Ogden was Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Mart Riser. Rocky Rhodes came home Wednesday from his summer job in Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kirkham of Elko spent from Monday to Wednesday here with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Oyler. Sharon King reports that her girls Volley Ball team took consolation in the region in games played at the Stake Center. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling King of Richfield, Idaho and Henry Buck, Gerald's grandfather, visited the Kings Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hansen came in from the ranch in Buhl, Idaho, Sunday for the son-in-la- City. Mrs. Ruby Simms and daughter, Donna of Ogden, visited her mother, Wednesday evening, Mrs. Hannah Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Russ Jones of Pocatello were with her on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert were in Ogden Thursday where they visited a sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Claire Packer and Bob at the nursing home. Lee Allen was in Boise for two days during the week on business and stayed with Bobbie Allen and family. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Andersen and Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Shaffer were in Bountiful for the wedding of Douglas Johnson and attended the wedding breakfast at the Red Flame. Enjoying Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Brent Moon and family were Mrs. Yolanda Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Petersen of Ogden, Mrs. Reta Rosa and Mrs. Josephine Miranda of Oakland, Calif. The Young Marrieds held a pot luck dinner party at the ward building Saturday evening under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Kent, Mr. andMrs. Maurice Wilcox and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gam. Following the meal fun games were enjoyed. Twenty-four attended. Mrs. Keith Moss joined her daughter, Mary Jane Moss in Salt Lake City Monday and they enjoyed luncheon at the Hawaiian Restaurant. Returning from an enjoyable week vacation in Phoenix are Mr. and Mrs. Claude Allred and daughter, Yvonne and grandson, Kirk Allred. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Holdaway of Bothwell, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Holdaway of Garland and Mrs. RaNae Smith of Layton. They visited Mr; and Mrs. Lyle Holdaway's and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don (Vickie) Anderson and family. They also enjoyed a side trip to Mexico. A large group of relatives and friends attended the viewing Thursday evening and the funeral Friday for Mrs. Leo (Cynthia) Earl held at the Hall Mortuary in Logan. Mrs. Earl was a former member of the Fielding ward and was highly respected. Deepest sympathy is extended to members of her lovely family. A large group of relatives and friends also attended the viewing at Rogers Mortuary and funeral services in the East Garland ward chapel Friday for a former resident of Fielding, Mrs. Howard (Orpha) Oyler. Sympathy is extended to the Oyler family. Jay Grover of Evanston spent the weekend visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Leon Grover and family. Tuesday Mrs. Sara Moss spent the day visiting her sister Mrs. Vadis Gilgen in Malad. Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith observed their wedding anniversary and enjoyed dinner at the Utah Noodle in Ogden. Later in the evening Mr. and Mrs. Claine Smith of Tremonton and Mr. and Mrs. Bart Flint and family stopped by for light refreshments. President and Mrs. Clive Gam and family will spend Thanksgiving and enjoy dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Burn-el- l Kennington in Burley. Friday evening they will attend a wedding reception at the cultural hall in Grace, Idaho honoring Mrs. Gams' nephew and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Brent (Renee Winder) Taylor. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Verl Udy accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Owen Udy and son, Michael and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Udy of Tremonton attended the Quarter Horse banquet held at the Hilton Hotel in Salt Lake V COLTS NUTS family, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Wood and family of Fielding. Wanda Lundahl of Providence had a fun day in Salt Lake City Thursday and enjoyed luncheon at Bratton's. Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Hansen of Salt Lake City visited Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Coombs during the week. Mrs. Edith Udy was at the Salt Lake airport Tuesday to meet her sister, Mrs. Audrey Booth of Las Vegas who arrived to spend the Thanksgiving holidays at the Udy home. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. De Vere Adams and family during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Barnes and family -- of St. John.- - Mr. and Mrs. Asael Godfrey have sold their home in Fielding and moved to North Salt Lake to make their permanent home. The Godfrey s have lived in Fielding the past seven years.
