Imagine, no taxes in about 70 years. Why? Garland taxes are high because we have a poor tax base. We need businesses.-Severa- l of our businesses have overflowed into the streets. They need room to expand. All over town there are people cluttering streets with unlicensed cars, barrels, bricks, stumps and other trash. Also sidewalks and city owned alleys are blocked. We are teaching our children disresect for law and property by perpetuating these situations. It's hypocritical. I've lost much respect for the offenders. Our citizens need to learn to go, to the Justice of the Peace and file complaints instead of expecting the city to do all the law enforcement. Citations issued by the city without evidence are illegal. A witness must sign the complaint. I hope I've done some good for Garland and I hope to do more in the future. Thanks again.
