In the evening they attended a reception Mr. 9 SFC Richard Gilson son-in-la- w son-in-la- w Recruiter Assigned SFC Richard Gilson has been assigned to the Ogden Recruiting Station and will be working in the Box Elder County area, it was announced this week. Gilson, who will retire from the U. S. Army in 1979, is a native of Santaquin, Utah, where he lived until 1951 when he moved to Provo. His last duty assignment was in Worms, Germany, as strategic microwave repair supervisor for the Army Communication Command for four and a half years. Weekend guests of the Ariel Sorensens were Mariel Sorensen and her guest, Debbie Hyde of London, England. Debbie is a convert of Mariel's that she converted while on her mission in England. She has been visiting with Mariel in Provo for the past six weeks. Mrs. Blodwin Sorensen spent most of last week in Malad with her daughter-in-laMrs. Lloyd Sorensen. Mrs. Sorensen opened a new fabric shop there and Blodwin helped get ready for the grand opening. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sorensen and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morris attended the bus drivers banquet at Mr. B's Thursday night. It was for the school bus drivers. Mr. and Mrs. Ariel Sorensen visited in Salt Lake Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Elzie Bigalow. Congratulations to the MIA on one of the nicest road shows that we've seen for a long time. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wood attended funeral services Monday for Hazel Lind, an aunt of Mr. Woods. The services were held in Provo. The Relief Society bazaar Saturday evening was a huge success. Everyone, I think, had a real nice evening. The children were given a special treat by Sharon Sorensen and Sharon Kotter. They presented a real clever puppet show that kept the kids entertained all evening. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams who are parents of a new proud ibaby girl. The little miss arrived Thursday at the Brigham City Hospital and weighed in at 7 pounds 616 ounces. She has a sister, :Tena, who is very excited 'over her arrival.
