Mrs. Vida Heaton of Logan was a visitor Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs: Karl Wellinu Monday visitors at the Welling home were Mrs. Edna Smith of Boise, Ida. and Mrs. Ila Nielsen of American Falls. Mrs. Mina Ward enjoyed a dinner Sunday at Maddox' Restaurant in Brigham City with Mr. and Mrs. Welton Ward of Pocatello, Ida. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Harris of Ogden were Monday visitors at the home of Mrs. Mina Ward. They also enjoyed a lovely dinner in Logan. Sunday Mrs. Lenore Silvester enjoyed a dinner out with Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Birks and son, Chris, of Granger. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Silvester and son, John of Layton, were also Sunday visitors at the Silvester home. Monday Mrs. Lenore Silvester enjoyed lots of helping hands from her young guests, Paul and John Silvester and Chris Birks. Last Thursday Mrs. Lenore Silvester enjoyed a "Sisters Day" with her sisters, Genevieve Jensen, Eva Zun-de- l, Jane Udy and Mary Hess. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Cornand son, Rusty, enjoyed a ride through Logan and wall Blacksmith Fork Canyon Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Burke Niel-so- n and family and Dawn Cornwall spent Monday at the Minitonka Cave and Bear Lake for a day of activity and fun. They joined Mr. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hep-zland son, Tuck, of Couer de Lene, Ida. were also er visitors at the Capener home. The Capeners knew the Hepzlers when they lived in England. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burnett and Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Burnett and children, Jason and Andrea, enjoyed an outing Monday to Heber City where they rode on the Heber Creeper. On their return home they stopped in Farmington and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Richins and Randy and Debbie Gibbs attended the Gibbs' family reunion held Saturday up Ogden Canyon. and Mrs. Dave Scott and Mr. and Mrs. Don Vanderhoof and they all traveled by motorcycle. They went to Rock Springs, Wyo. then to Roosevelt where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mecham and family. They also went to Jackson Hole, Wyo. and then toured West Yellowstone. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Soren- sen were in Rexburg, Ida. over the weekend where they were present for the blessing of their grandson. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gallovich and was given the name of Jerod Thomas. Mrs. Blodwin Sorensen accompanied them to Rexburg and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Soren- sen joined them Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Andersen of Sandy were weekend guests of the Leon Kott-er- s. ' , , , , Oyler Saturday and her confirmation on Sunday in Tremonton. They and the Oylers enjoyed a lovely dinner at Maddox' after the services. Mr. and Mrs. James Wood of Garland were Sunday visitors of the Jack Forsgrens. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Christ ensen. Salt Lake and Mrs. Amy AMi, Tremonton, were guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sorensen. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wood were overnight guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Smith, Ogden. Sunday evening they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bananzio. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shy had a surprise visit from their daughter, Cindy. She stoppby Monday enroute to Ashton, Ida. Dalton Sept. 1 to discuss plans for the coming year. Beor River from Tacoma, Wash, visited with her. Garland Way Mrs. Astle Visits Nieces By Mary Ann Maughan Mrs. Theodore Astle went to Brigham last Wednesday to visit her sister, Olive Hume. She also received the pleasure of visiting with two of her nieces from California who were spending some time with the Humes. While in Brigham Mrs. Astle also visited her sister-in-la- Mrs. Hazel Astle. Mrs. B. C. Brough and her children and, families spent Friday and Saturday at Early Park. There were 25 family members present. They enjoyed good meals,, but especially one another's J company, s Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown enjoyed the company of Kenneth Brown and daughter, Sherri of Centerville and Mr. and Mrs. K. Mel Ward and their six children of Kaysville last Saturday. The preceding Friday the Browns were visited by Henry's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Brown from San Pablo, Calif. Their son, Spencer, Jr. and his wife spent Friday night with the Browns and left Saturday morning to return home. Sunday Henry's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Fullmer from Logan visited. Monday the Browns traveled to Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Bengt Jonsson. They enjoyed dinner and then they went to Snowbird where they viewed the German Music Festival. Mrs. Larry Butler's Kiddie College began Tuesday. They will be studying farms and farm animals. Also, they may be planning a trip to a dairy. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Funk and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles May and family, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Munns and family and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Coombs and family spent family home evening at Willow Park in Logan. After the FHE the Bishopric visited Bill Merrell at the Logan Hospital. CINK r.lUNA Sunday afternoon the Marriotts visited in Brigham City with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Cobb and Fay Dorris. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cortez and family enjoyed a week's vacation. First they spent a day in Mesa Verde, and then a few days in Durango, where they rode the Rio Grande Train, to Silverton and back. They came home through Denver, Cheyenne and Rawlins. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dal-to- n attended the blessing of their granddaughter, Angie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Womack. Four generations stood up with her and Wayne Dalton blessed her. Angie wore a necklace of beads her great grandfather had made for her. Afterwards a family dinner was held at the Womack home. Guests were Mrs. Larae Worley and family, Charles Dalton, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Sheffer, Kaylyn and July Hallberg, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Womack, Mr. and Mrs. Brent Womack and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Womack and family, Larry Knosh and Wendy Hancey. The Wayne Dalton's grandson, Cole Worley, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Worley, began to hemorrhage a few days after having a tonsilectomy. He is doing fine now. Vera Nelson and mother visited Mrs. Dalton, Monday. Wednesday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Sheffer. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Allred have had their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Hughes and daughter, Min-de- e of Fylmar, Calif, spending a few days with them They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Butler. Labor Day visitors at the Allred home were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Butler, Mr. and Mrs. John Preece, and the Allred's great grand- daughters, Jamie Preece and Mikel Woerner. Monday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Hales were Dr. and Mrs. Alten Davis and two sons of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Max Hales and family of Logan.
