They enjoyed visiting many points of interest in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Giles Jr. had their small daughter blessed in the Tremonton Sixth Ward sacrament meeting last Sunday and given the name of Amanda Leigh Giles. Following the meeting a dinner party was held at the Giles home. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Corey Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Huish of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Waldron of Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Connie Rasmussen of Tremonton and Mrs. Fern Huish of Garland. Mrs. Nellie Barnard has returned after spending a week vacationing in Shelley, Idaho with her and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lanny Smith and family. While there they all enjoyed spending a few days in Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Smith and family accompanied her home and remained for the weekend. They also visited Mrs. Mildred Smith in Fielding. President and Mrs. Gerald Simmons, Mr. and Mrs. James Brown and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Harris enjoyed a dinner party at Maddox Ranch House in Perry Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brough and daughters Jeri-an-n and ShaRee returned Saturday after spending several days vacationing in scenic Utah. They visited at Park City, Heber City, the Bingham copper mines and many points of interest in Salt Lake City. Mr: and Mrs. Glen Crump and sons Ronald and Brian have returned after an enjoyable two week vacation in Washington D.C. where they visited their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Crump and small son. Steven is a student at the Georgetown University Dental School. They all enjoyed visiting Williamsburg, Gew son-in-la- w ' ttysburg, Palmyra and Nauvoo in addition to other points of interest. The Tremonton Literary Guild met with Mrs. Jessie Van Sweden as hostess Tuesday evening. An interesting review of the book 'Journey' was given by Mrs. Vernell Morrison. Authors of the book are Robert and Suzanne Massie. Later they drove to the airport in Salt Lake to visit with their Brian Pulley who was enroute to his home in San Jose after being in Denver on business.
