Her aunt Belinda took her to school one day which was quite exciting for her. The home of Oleen and the Damsel Nelson was scene of a big Holiday family dinner party. All the children and grandchildren from town were there along with Clyde and Darlene and their four children and Audrey and Dick Spry and two children and Dick's mother Hattie Spry from Salt Lake City. Carol Barker spent a week with the Dell Olsen family in Magna helping out with the new granddaughter. Ruth and Dell will name the little one Michelle. The Olsen 's spent last weekend here with Carol and their parents DeVerl Barker. Overnight visitors at the Delwin Hansen home were Delwin's brothers Don and Duane of Paul and Deitrich. Idaho. Mrs. Lula Clayson was . called to Bountiful because Mthe death of her brother Vernon Romney. She will remain there until after the funeral services on Tuesday. Andrea Huggins entertained three ladies at her home Saturday. They were: Fern Arbon of Brigham; Clytie Anderson of El wood; Ivy Glazer of Willard. They had lunch and spent the afternoon visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Mario Checkers were in Sandy Saturday to .help their granddaughter. Candy, celebrate her 5th birthday. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Checketts. ,. Mrs. ; Clayson accompanied them0 as far as Bountiful. Kim Checketts had a party a week ago. The group enjoyed the evening wagon riding and visiting and were served a very good dinner. Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Mario Checketts, Rul-o- n Scott of South Weber and Valoy Hill of Roy went thru a session at the Ogden temple. Afterwards they had dinner at the China Night. Mr. and Mrs. Vidmar Clayson of Pocatello and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Clayson of Richmond along with Mario and Melba Checketts attended the Romney funeral in Chr-istens- Rely on Ford for Rentals Dallas junior. They are going to the Philippine Islands where they will De stationed for eighteen months. Planned pot luck supper and games were enjoyed. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Christensen from Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Roberts of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Eldrige of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. DeVon of Heber spent last weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Clair Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Von E. Julander. The D.U.P met at the home of Carrie J. Christensen with Nola Nessler as Lula Clayson gave the lesson and Myrtle Anderson read the history of Burton's grandfather Peter Anderson. Seventeen members were present and a real Danish luncheon was served. (Grencold and creamy rice pudding. ) Mike Ramsdell from Salt Lake spent the weekend with his parents the Dewey er Sgf. The board carries on the work of the Bear River Resource Conservation and Development Project throughout the year. The meeting will feature reports on progress made within the five counties of the project area and designation of objectives for the WORK GOES ON -- Even winter weather doesn't stop work on the new hospital going up in Tremonton as well as the nursing home being built by the county on the same site. Association Manager Keith H. Anderson said one of the highlights of the meeting will be a report on the association's financial position and a summary of the past year's lending operations. An election to select one director will also be held.
