Loi Ann Udy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Udy, was baptized on her 8th birthday Saturday and a cook out was held in her honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Udy. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Josephson called on Mrs. Flo A'alker on her 80th birthday in Brigham Saturday. Sunday they visited an Uncle George Daniels Sr.inMalad. They also visited Arlene Treasuer, Merle Hughes and Stella Jones. Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Josephson was honored on their wedding anniversary by Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Josephson of Garland who had a lovely dinner for them. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Udy. Sunday Lot Ann was confirmed and her parents entertained in her honor. The same guests were there but Brent Macfarlane also joined them. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Nish attended Fast and Testimony meeting in Salt Lake where son of their Mr. and Mrs. Micheal Nish, was blessed and given the name of Mathew Micheal. After church they had dinner at their sons Mr. and Mrs. Don Nish of Bountiful. Mrs. Joseph Stokes and Mrs. Newell Nish visited an Aunt Mrs. Clark Rudd in the Logan LDS hospital Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Vem De akin of Tremonton accompanied by Mrs. Nina Lamb went to Clarkston Sunday where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Herman Thompson. Visiting Sunday at the home of Mrs. Henry Starr and John were Mr. and Mrs. John Allan of Riverside and Mrs. Jerry Checketts and three children of Brigham, Mr. and Mrs. LaVoy Udy of Riverside also called on them one day last week. He was a World War II Veteran. He married Ceila Zund2l May 18, 1949, in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home In Tremonton. He was a member of the Tremonton Jaycees for 15 years and had served as secretary, director and president He was a H club leader, member of the Box Elder County Fair Board for three years, serving as chairman of the horse show. He was secretary of the Plymouth Rodeo for 14 years, a member of the Plymouth He was a club. roping member of the Golden Spike District Scout committee, an assistant Scout master as well as Scout master, a member of the neighborHe hood Scout committee. was a member of the Tremonton 4th LDS Ward. He had served as YMMiA president activity counselor and MIA teacher, Sunday School teacher, priesthood teacher, hometeacher, and was presently serving as ward clerk. Petersen, of Bear River City, died 84, the Cooley In Wednesday Memorial Hospital in Brlg-ah- m City following a stroke. Mrs. Petersen was born July 23, 1889, in Bear River City, a daughter of Peter M. and Hanna Anderson Hansen. She was married to Eras-tPetersen on June 25, 1909, In Brigham City. He died May 25, 1953. She was a lifelong resident of Bear River City. She was an active mem-b- er of the LDS Church and had served as Primary president and Relief Soviety visiting teacher for many years. She was a charter member of Bear River Camp, Daughter of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Earl Mrs. Mack L.
