In the morning they went to Logan where they attended two sessions in the Logan Temple. After the second session, they drove to Sherwood Hills and had dinner together. Irene Kerr and Ethel Mae Firth, members of the presidency, were hostesses for the dinner. Mr. Bob Bennett entered the ZC '" LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City on Tuesday and will undergo heart surgery today. Allred Marriage Announced Mr. and Mrs. Don Gibson are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter, Geri Dawn, to Mr. Dennis M. Allred, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin T. Allred, of Wendell, Idaho.. The young couple was married Feb. 17, 1974. The bride is a graduate of Bear River high school and also a three year Seminary graduate. She has attended one year at Utah State and one year at Weber State. The bridegroom is a grad uate of Wendell high school. He attended two years at Ricks College and two years at Weber State. He has also filled a LDS Michigan-Indiana 7 The SltK Club met at the home of Mrs. Don Gibson on Thursday night of last week. The hostess served a lovely luncheon to the club members. Games were played during tlie evening and prizes won were Arlene by Hunsaker, The I ma Austin and F.loise Palmer. Visitors Wednesday and Wednesday night at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Brent were Mrs. parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Lambourne of Laketown, Hah. Mr. Von Christensen, assistant Scout master also assisted. The Pinochle Club met at the home of Mrs. Max Mason Thursday night. Mrs. Mason served a luncheon to thirteen of the clubmembers. Prizes for games were won by Mrs. Clain Nelson, Mrs. Lester Wheatley and Mrs. Gaylen X. f Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Day Garfie Id and their daughter. Eolleen and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Garfield were in Draper Saturday night to attend a wedding reception for Carol Harris who was married earlier in the day in the Salt Lake Temple to Mr. Brian K. Brady. Carol is the daughter of Pres. and Mrs. Jack Garfie Id. President Garfield is a cousin of the Garfield's. The reception was held in the Mt. Jordan Stake Center in Draper. The National Convention of Sugar Processors was held in San Diego, California two weeks ago. Attending the convention from our community were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sorenson, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Carver. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Giles and Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Nish have returned home after spending ten delightful days in Mesa, Arizona. They went there to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lorig who have recently moved into their new home In Mesa. Mrs. Lorig is a sister of Mrs. Giles and Mrs. Nish. The warm weather was most enjoyed by the local couples. Mrs. Clyde Morris and Mrs. Held Oyler were hostesses at a bridal shower at the Oyler home Saturday afternoon. The bride-to-b- e. Miss Mary Jane Harris, received miny lovely gifts. A luncheon was served to thirty neighbors and relatives of Mary Jane. She is the daurd ghter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Harris and her marriage to Fddie Shaw w ill take place later this minth. Mrs. Leland Harris flew from tlie Salt Lake Airport Sunday for Flk Point. Alberta, Canada.
