I'hey cot a new snowmobile and ;ire twins back out there on the New dear's weekend to try it out on all the new snow that has fallen since Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Hall spent Christmas day with their daughter and husband, Vonda and Jerry Smith, in Plain City. The entire family was able to be present. The Hall's have such i fun time together with their euitars, piano and all their lovely voices and this year was no exception. Among those present were Vonda and Jerry, Carroll and Hernice, Carleen Brown, Linda and her daughter, Jeff Brown and family. Barbara and Arnold Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fvans and three children and Maria Brown. Mr. Verl Iverson and Ona Hohosh of Ogden called on his uncles and aunts homes during th? week to announce their marriage date early in January. We all wish them the best of wishes and a happy new life. Mrs. Pearl Elwell spent the holidays in Salt Lake with her daughters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril . Fullmer and Mr. and Mrs. Max Mickel-so- n. The older citizens committee held a party at the ward cultural hall, last Friday night for the Senior Citizens of our town. Twenty eight attended. A program was presented which consisted of Jeffery Dallin play ing two numbers on his guitar, Warren Stoddard sang two solos uuiiiuuimri did Taeil Johnsen. LaBee Lueas rendered aeeordiin wnbers, Florence Gardner ga two readings and Deo John-s- en lead the group ia singing to Christmas carols. Baskets of goodies were given to the croup and 20 baskets ere delivered to the twenty memrs who Mere unable to attend. Mrs. Mary S. Anderson spent Christmas day ith Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burr in Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Tim ra of Bozenun, Montana. re also there. Mrs. Mil-bu- rn is a granddaughter of Mrs. Anderson. At this writing Mr. and Mi's. Carroll Hall received word that their granddaughter. Barbara Peterson (daughter of Carleen) was in a wreck Thursday. She received a broken leg, broken nose and cuts and abrasions. She hadn't regained consciousness by Thursday night We pray she will recover soon. Mr. and M-- s. Che ster Christensen were invited to the Frank Jensen home for their family A delicious night recently. an insupper was served, teresting lesson and a delightful program were part of the evenings activities. The five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vern Rasmussen of Burley. Idaho, was buried In our cemetery the Thursday before Christmas. The small lad died from quick pneumonia. This was a grandson of former residents of our town, Ray and AlVerda Simonsen Rasmussen. Following the burial services the family met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Delwin Hansen for lunch. Glen Iverson was a special guest at the Delbert Holmgren home fortheirChrlstmas party.
