However, his illness was diagnosed and he is rapidly improving. Get well wishes are also extended to Koa Lou Nelson, who entered the McKay hospital nut long ago for minor surgery. She is home now and improving. Max, Leon and Ronald Peter-so- n enjoyed a few days at Island Park fishing this month. Box Elder News photo RECEIVES Trotters Name Junior Rodeo Queen Three junior misses took honors in the local juniorposse Trail Trotters j : 70 m: i 4K . in 0 Rodeo Queen contest held July 19 at the Box Elder County fairgrounds. Robyn Lish will reign as junior rodeo queen with Chris Misrasi, first attendant, and Trina Winningham, second attendant, riding with her. Parents of the girls are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lish, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Misrasi and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Winningham. The girls will reign over the Trail Trotters rodeo scheduled for sometime later in the sum- mer. The state and national queen contestant pattern was used in the judging. A walk, trot, gallop, two figure eights, backing, pivoting, a barrel pattern and a presentation ride were events in which the girls participated. He was a member of the Oran Elmer Parkinson, 67, of Portage died July 2i 1972, at a son's home in Roy, Utah of natural causes. He was born Jan. 1. 1905, at Portage, Utah, a son of David and Annie Young Parkinson. He was reared and educated in Portage. He Moo lie married Frances LDS Church and had served as second counselor in the Portage ward bishopric, member of the Sunday School superintendency and secretary to the High Priests. Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Elmer Leon Parkinson, Roy, Utah; Barry David Parkinson, Portage; Mrs. M. 0. (Lois Re nee) Tingelstad, Travid AFB, CaliL; Mrs. Roger (Marva Jean) Kinnersley, Salt Lake City, Utah; 13 grandchildren' two Also surviving are one brother, David Ezra Parkinson, Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Elda Nelson, Brigham City, and Mrs. Myrtle Thomas, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at l"p.m. in the Portage LDS ward chapel. Friends may call at the Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton Friday 7 to 9 p. m. and Saturday from 9 until 10 a.m. and at the Portage ward chapel from 10: 50 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Portage cemetery. Rudder of Malad visited a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Barnes, in Salt Lake City Monday before they left the airport for Rome, Italy, for a two year mission.
