The festival is a culmination of year's study of poetry. "Each student has his own individual book of poems and knows by heart nearly all the poems in the book, and in this easily has become acquainted authors with many well-knoof children's poetry," explained Mrs. Maughan. All faculty members have also been given a book of the poems to be used in the festival and are reading the po-eto the students in their classes. Thus the entire school is showing in this unit on poetry. Parents, grandpas, grandmas, friends and relatives of the performing students are urged to attend either performance.
