Krey is stationed in Korea and will return to the states in May 1968. He received his basic training in Fort Lewis, Wash., before going to Korea in April. Elmo Christensen and Gerald Williams made a business trip to Los Angeles over the weekend. Richard Nessler had minor surgery on his neck Thursday. Carrie A. Christensen was in Salt Lake City last weekend where she visited her brother, Harold, at the Evergreen Rest Home, her sister, the Ursel Chidesters and her daughter, Mrs. Robert Roberts and family. HALLOWEEN PARTY The Halloween party put on by the PTA Friday evening was a success. There were lots of goodies to eat and games and prizes for everyone The spook alley with lots of witches and the show was enjoyed by all the kids. EXTENDED VISIT Barney Wright of San Francisco, a friend of Shyrl Gardner's whom he met in Saudi Arabia has spent t h e past month with Shyrl. Mr. Wright is recovering from surgery but has been helping with the beet s harvest. Morris Jensen of Phoenix. Ariz., has also been a guest at the Gardner home. He came for the funeral of Glen Neeley. Seven ladies of our DL'P Camp attended the county convention held at the Elwood Cultural Hall Saturday. A party was held at the home of Flossie Ramsdell Monday.. Brunch was served to LaVon Dallin. Tuesday accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jensen they drove to Madison, Wis., where they visited the AB C. farms and with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jensen 'Carolyn MunnsK On the way home they visited the Harold Warp Pioneer Valley in Nebraska, spent Saturday and Sunday witth their son, Seth at Denver and with aunt Alice Spears at Castle Rock. Colo. They arrived home Monday evening. C. and Mrs. Cyrl Fullmer of Salt Lake City visited Saturday with Mrs. Pearl Elwell. Dewey. Mrs. Garth Josephsen, Charie and Jill. Erma Anderson, Karen Barker and Jr. Watanabe, college students spent the weekend at home. visiting. Helen Hansen has been busy tending sick folks. Her Florence was ill with near pneumonia and one of her grandsons had pneumonia. They arc better now but since Helen has been on the sick list. FROM CALIFORNIA Mr. aid Mrs. Clyde M. Vau-diJensen arrived at the Hansen home on Tuesday. Thursday morning the Hansens drove Clyde to the Salt Lake airport where he took a jet flight to St. Louis, Mo., to visit four of his sisters. He came back the following Tuesday and on Thursday they left for their home in San Diego. Calif. While here Vaudis visited her brothers and sisters and other relatives in this area. Claire and Lurleen Anderson and three children spent the weekend in Burley with Lur Ieen's parents, the B. E. Goochs. Reva Merrill of Preston spent Saturday with her mother, Mrs. Mary S. Anderson who is some, what improved from her recent illness. Sunday the Hartley Anderson family of Hooper were at the Anrlprson home. The Jack Hodges family of Ogden were dinner guests of the Chester Standers Sunday. Mr. Eggleston and Mrs. Green are a brother and sister of Mrs. Major and Mrs. Wally Nielsen and their son have been visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nielsen and other family members. They live in Phoenix. Ariz. They had come to attend the wedding of Major Nielsen's sister, Sandra, to Bill Smith of Brigham City. Miss Spackman Margene spent the weekend in Salt Lake City recently at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miles.
