Utah Dear Mr. Rytting, I would like to take this op portunity to thank you and your staff for the wonderful paper vou send out. I have been away from Tremonton for almost 8 years now, and I have received the Leader every week during the 8 years I have been away. I wish I could express just how much I have really enjoyed receiving the Leader and how much it means to me. Whenever I get home sick, I just pick up my latest Leader and I feel better al most immediately. My wife and I were assigned to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska on May 13, 1960. I am assigned to the Alaskan Chateau here on Elmendorf. The Chateau' is a Distinguished Visitors Quarters. We recently hosted General Douglas MacArthur. President Eisenhower stayed here during his visit to Alaska in June 1960. So as you can see, it is a wonderful experience for me. On the 13th of August 1961, Elders Mark E. Peterson and Franklin D. Richards visited Anchorage and organized the Alaska Stake. I was called by Elder Franklin D. Richards to be Wfard Clerk for the Anchorage 2nd Ward. My wife Faye and I are active in the church here and we really enjoy the opportunities we have received to serve. The new Stake President is President Orson Millett formally from Ogden, Utah. I must close for now, so thank you again for the fine service I have enjoyed from your firm. Sincerely, Paul T.
