'Flighty' Jail Prisoners Taken To State Prison ELECTRICALLY! f w The last of two "reluctant" residents of Box Elder County jail this week was transported to Utah State Prison by deputies of Sheriff Warren Hyde. Marvin Ransom, 19, of Vantage, Wash., was sentenced to serve a year term after conviction of grand larceny in connection with theft and attempted sale of a truck owned by a Tremonton man. Ransom had attempted two escapes from the county jail while being held for trial, and for investigation by the adult probation department. Once he walked six blocks from the jail and out was attempting to hitch-hik- e of town in his stocking feet when picked up by Deputy Stanley A. May. The second time, he and Bobby Wright, 21, Corinne were on a chicken dressing detail in the jail basement when they fled. Ransom was picked up in Evanston, Wyo., and Wright in Salt Lake City, both within 18 hours. Both were on "trustee'' status in expectation by the Sheriffs office that they both would be given freedom on probation due to their youU and first offense.
