Mrs. Bowcutt, the former Pearl Newman was born July 26, 1882, the daughter of James and Josephine Newman. They iwere married Oct. 21, 1910 at Brigham City, Utah. The Bowcutts are parents of nine sons and daughters, seven of whom are living. They are Clifford Bowcutt, George Bowcutt Jr., Mrs. Andrew (Elaine) Scothern, Mrs. Ogden; Henry Bowcutt, Donald H. (Ann) Wagstaff, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Gerald (Florence) Hess, Mrs. Joseph (Vera) Butler, Garland. They also have 40 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Bear River delegates and four other school's delegates from Region One gained new ideas to help carry out their programs from the convention, Mrs. Shurtz reported. Guest speakers from Indian School spoke on "Living Together In America." Annette Hall, state F.H.A. presiCondent, reported on National vention and spoke on "Developing Our Potential Abilities."
