Utah Thursday, April 16. 1959 ' NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education, Box Elder County School District for the Construction of Additions and Re modeling at the Bear River High School, located between Garland and Tremonton, Utah. ': Construction to be all under the General Contract Bids will be in accordance with plana and specifications prepared by Paul K. Evans, A.I.A. Architect, B15 East Broadway, Salt Lake City, Utah, and same may be obtained from the office of the Architect, upon receipt of $50.00 deposit for one set, made payable to Paul K. Evans, which deposit will be refunded upon return of such plans and specifications In good condition within ten days of the date set for the bid opening. A second set may be obtained on the above basis except that $25.00 will be retained by the Architect for cost of printing such set if returned in good condition. Copies of the plans and specifications will be on file In the office of the Clerk, Box Elder County School District, in the Court House Building, Brigham City, Utah, and are open for public inspection. Preaualifications of bidders Is required. Prior to any bidder re ceiving plans and specifications, it will be necessary that he have on file with the Architect, com pleted and approved, the required prequalification statement pertain ing to contractor's experience and financial condition. Bids will be received at the of fice of the Clerk, Box Elder County School District, County Court House, Brigham City, Utah, un til 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 13th day of May 1959, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the closing time will be returned to the bid der unopened. A statement from a company approved by the Board of Educa tion and the Architect, that it will furnish the required "Own ers Protective Bond" made out on A.I.A. form Bl, to cover per formance of the contract, shall be enclosed with the bid and certl fied check. A certified check in the amount of five per cent of the bid, made payable to the Board Edu cation, Box Elder County School District, shall accompany bid (Bid Bond or Cashier's check will not be accepted.) The Board of Education, Box Elder County School District, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the said Box Elder County School District.
