Saturday night the Howell Ward Relief Society held their annual tsiruiaay party m the ward re creation halL Games were played under the direction of Mrs. Lyle Nessen, Mrs. Burke Jones, and Mrs. Wally Grant The group enwas joyed a program which presented by Mrs. Lela Fackrell after which they were served a delicious luncheon by Mrs. Veda Mason, Mrs. Carol Lee Douglas and Mrs. Donna Fonnesbeck. A skit was presented by a group of the ladies and approximately 25 persons enjoyed the evening. Mrs. Scott Grant presided over the evening's events. Give Work Demonstration The Lark girls of the Primary presented their Parent Demonstration Thursday- afternoon. Under the supervision of their teacher, Mrs. Juanita Hansen, the girls presented a program of the work they are doing. The Lark girls are LaDawn Jones, Ann Douglas, and Naydeen Fonnesbeck. Re freshments were served to the mothers and leaders. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hansen have had two of their grandsons, Cody and Brent Wynn of Tremonton, visiting with them for three days last week. The boys are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Wynn of Tre monton. Mrs. Amanda Smith of Logan HOWELL By Mrs. Stanford Fonnesbeck Reports Visit In California Mrs. Oliver M. Munk has Re turned to her home after a pleas k ant visit with her sis ter, Mrs. R. G. McCurdy in Long Beach, Calif. Duane and Zoe McCurdy spent several summers at the Munk farm a few years ago and they had a most enjoyable visit renewing acquaintances While enroute to and from California, Mrs. Munk contacted several missionary friends and rela tives. On Friday night Mrs. Lyle Nessen celebrated her birthday at the home of Mrs. Stanford Fonnesbeck. Mrs. Burke Jones was hostess for the evening. Games were played with prizes going to Mrs. Wally Grant and Mrs. Paul Fonnesbeck. A lovely gift was presented to Mrs. Nessen and a delicious luncheon was served to thirteen members of the Birthday Club. Tuesday night the A Capella Choir from the Bear River High School under the direction of Gene Jorgensen, came to Howell and presented a program of musical numbers.
