In 1953 Mr. Anderson was named president of the Associated Clubs Library Committee for Cache Valley. In 1954 and' 1955 he was elected president of the Logan Junior Chamber of Commerce. Under his presidency, the Logan Junior Chamber won the award as the outstanding local unit for the entire state of Utah. The Logan Junior Chamber was awarded the Clarence A. Howard Award as fourth place national winner among the nation's Jaycees. In 1955 Mr. Anderson received the award as the outstanding Jaycee unit in Utah. In 1957 Mr. Anderson was named a membeg of the board of directors of the Logan Chamber of Commerce. During 1957 he was also elected a member of the board of directors of the Utah State Quarterback Club. he has served During 1956-5- 7 as executive secretary of the Cache County Heart Council. In 1956 and 1957 he was elected president of the 204th Field Artillery Battalion Officers Association. Mr. Anderson comes to Tremonton with nine years of banking experience, and he is delighted, with the opportunity of serving the many friends and customers of First Security Bank in the Tremonton area.
