Mr. Hess was the father of Lenore Silvester: Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tubbs, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hadfield. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Capener, T. J. Udy, Mr. and Mrs. John Allen, Nina Burnett, Ed Udy and Effic W.elling were all present. Mr. and Mrs. Wagstaff of Spokane visited friends in Riverside Sunday. Mrs. Wagstaff was the former Laura Everton, Logan, who taught school here many years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Wagstaff were in Tremonton visiting their son and wife during the holiday and they all spent Sunday attending church service in Riverside. It is always wonderful t,o have old associates return to visit our town. Mr. and Mrs. Bevan Hales Capener and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Capener went to Salt Lake City Friday morning. The Bob Capeners stayed in Salt Lake City for school. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Silvester were happy to talk on the telephone to their daughters and families in Moses Lake, Wash., Thanksgiving Day. They are Mr. and Mrs. Ray justensen and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Birks. Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Mangum and son of Midvale spent Wednesday night at the Ed Udys. As Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ward returned from Hawaii they had several hours lay over in Los Angeles and called on Iva Ward Peters.
