Huey Davis scored both Bear River touchdowns, one in each of the first two periods, and the defense held the Box Elderites in the last half to gain the vie tory. The first Bear River counter came when Davis picked up a punt on the 23 yard line and sprinted 77 yards to score. Dave Conger crashed through the right side of the line to add the extra point. The Riverites countered again in the second quarter with Davis sweeping left end to cap a 6'4 yard drive. The Bears failed to pick up the extra point. The lone Box Elder tally came in the fourth period, with Tracyj Bee fullback, scoring from about seven yards out.
