Show PORTAGE By Mrs. Gibbs Allen Scouts at Camp Arthur L. Gibbs, Scoutmaster accompanied the Portage Ward Boy Scouts to Bear Lake on Monday morning for a week's stay at Camp Nebeker. The boys Denton included Explorers John, and Buddy Knudsen and Scouts John Clark, Alan Niel-soJ. D. Hawks and Wendell McCann. Explorer leader, E. Wynn John expects to join the , group Wednesday. Miss June Gibbs who is employed by the telephone company in Kaysville is spending this month in Oceanside, Calif., with Mr .and Mrs. LeeRoy n, Pet-tirgi- ll. Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs Allen have had as their guests the last two weeks from Walla Walla, Wash., Mrs. Allen's mother, Mrs. C. E. Pieper and her sister, Mrs. Ralph Reyer and three children. Mrs. Oren Parkinson has been spending the week at Roy with her daughter, Mrs. Jim Haggan who has a new baby boy. She has two other children. Leave For Washington Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Hoskins left Tuesday for a ten day visit at Seattle, Wash., with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Conger. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Rhodes of East Garland and Mrs. Ruby Nielson of Garland visited Sunday at the Reed Nielson home. The Scouts and their leader, Arthur Gibbs are spending the week at Bear Lake. Bishop and Mrs. Walter E. Gibbs spent the latter part of last week in Salt Lake City. While there they visited at the homes of Mrs. Gibbs' sisters, Mrs. A. R. Castleton Jr., and Mrs. Ralph A. Barnes. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Morris and family, Mr. and Mrs. David P. Gibbs and Mr. and Mrs. John F. Conley attended the Green family reunion at McCammon Saturday. , Miss Judy Williams of Calif., is here spending sometime with her sister, Mrs. Henry Roderick. Saundra and Sherma Morris are visiting with friends and relatives in Ogden. Devere Harris spent last week t in Twin Falls, Ida., on business.
