Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Foy Shuman and daughter, Clara Gae are spending a 20 day furlough with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Titus Shuman. They are stationed in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Eliza Krumperman of is several spending Ogden weeks with her daughter, Leona Anderson. Mrs. Krumperman just recently celebrated her 90th birthday. Little Debra Christensen returned home Sunday after spending a week with her sister, Sherrie Gibbs in Salt Lake City. . Mrs. May Bosely, Glenn, Joyce and Gale Stark visited in Ogden Saturday with Mrs. Betty Drysdale. Bob Wallace of Emmett, Ida., a student at the A. C. spent the weekend with Ronald Firth. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hansen from Ogden visited with Mrs. Mary Burnhope, Saturday. Delbert and Dala Firth attended the stock show in Spanish Fork last week. Last Wednesday a Mother's Day party was given by the first three classes of Primary children. There were 35 children and 18 mothers present. To All Holders of Utah Operators' and Chauffeurs' Licenses A law passed by the State Legislature, effective May 10, 1955, provides that every person licensed jn Utah, whether he holds a Good Until Revoked license or one that requires renewal must successfully pass an eye examination every five years. Holders of Good Until Revoked licenses must pass their first eye test between May 10 1955 and January 1, 1957. Failure to do so automatically causes the license to be cancelled and it becomes necssary to make application for a new licence and successfully pass established written driving and eye tests. Application for the eye examination may be made at the headquarters of the Drivers' License Division, 123 State Cap itol, or at the Division's Fairgrounds Office, 1000 West North Temple Street, in Salt Lake City; at Division offices in Ogden, Logan and Provo or direct to the Examiner as he appears on regular schedule in various cities and towns throughout the state. You may ascertain the dates and hours the examiner will be in your area by making inquiry of your local law enforcement agency. . In view of. this new law, holders of regular licenses will renewed be unable to merely by mailing in the stub within 90 days of the expiration date, as (has been done, but must pass an eye examination every five years.
