FIELDING hy Florence Munson ENTERTAIN RIDING CLUB The Sunset Riding Club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Garn Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jensen of Garland as A delicious hot supper was served and the evening spent playing various games. Attending Primary Conference at Salt Lake City Saturday were Mrs. Erma Garn, Mrs. Letha Petersen, Mrs. Gwen Burnett, Mrs. Bonnie Rudd, Miss Iris Coombs and Mrs. Racheal Burton. Dr. and Mrs. Grant Gil Smith and four children arrived here Friday morning from Pullman, Wash., for a visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Smith. While here they planned to attend conference at Salt 2 for V I 1 t Lake City. On Tuesday Dr. Smith will give a paper on Chemistry at a Chemical Convention at the B.Y.U. at Provo. Weekend guests at the E. H. Packer home were Mr. and Mrs. Thayne Packer and children Garren, Pamela, Randy and Patricia of Logan. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Alf Johnson of Beaver Dam and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Asplund and two daughters of Logan also visited at the Packer home. Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Hess spent Monday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lemoine Hess and Mr. and Mrs. Ferren Evans and their families at Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Udy attended a family party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bowcutt at Tremonton Saturday evening honoring Stanley on his birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Munson spent Monday at Ogden. Hess entertained at a family party at her home Wednesday in compliment to her husband who was observing his birthday anniversary. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hess and family of Plymouth and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Godfrey and family. Callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Munson Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. William Griffiths of Brigham. They were accompanied by their grandson Michael Baird of Concord, Cal., who remained to spend a few days of this week with Forrest Munson. The Temple grounds were beautiful, especially to anyone who has seen so much snow as Utah has had this year. At Las Vegas they enjoyed dinner and a floor show at the El Rancho. and they report that they didn't know that money came so easily and was lost so easily as it is at the gambling Par-mo- houses. Daughters of the Utah Pion eers held their meeting at the home of Wanda Johnson, Friday afternoon. Jennie Jensen gave the lesson. Hostesses for the afternoon were Seretta Johnsen, Wanda Johnsen and Janet Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnsen entertained at a lovely dinner party at their home, Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Christ ensen and family spent Sunday in Bountiful. Mrs. MacK (Jhristensen was gracious hostess to her club Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnsen and Evelyn Archibald and son Larry spent Saturday and Sun day in Salt Lake City visiting Mr. and Mrs. Vern Barrett. Master Micheal Barrett returned home with them and will spend several days here. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Christ ensen and family have moved from their home to the home recently occupied by Mrs. Chr istensen's mother. The south part of town will miss them and hope they will be happy in their new location. There will be a ehildrens Easter dance Friday evening.
