Show THE LEADER. Local Volunteers Serve As "Watchdoss" of Water An adequate and safe water supply is one of the most important assets a modern community must have. With the increasing demands for good water throughout the State, safe water becomes of drinking prime public health importance. Communities must often spend considerable amounts of money a good to insure themselves No water. of Community supply wants to use contaminated water and face the possible danger of disease which would then be present. Volunteers Helping In nearly every community in Box Elder County there is someone who is cooperating dir. ectly with the Utah State Department of Health in checking the safety of their local water supplies. These public health minded individuals, on their own time, and often at their own expense, send in samples of water each month to the State Laboratory for analysis, and the results of the tests are mailed back to the sender. In Box Elder County the following citizens are now sending in samples of water to the State Laboratory for analysis each month.
